About Us

Located in the Coastal Bend area of South Texas and the heart of mesquite country, we naturally use the honey mesquite from this area.

We have been in business over 33 years at the same location. We make furniture, do restoration, sell antiques, and go to market days shows
two weekends per month, March through December adding others as we can. (See schedule)

We have been making children’s name stools, rocking horses and bulls for over 11 years.

About nine years ago we fell in love with mesquite because of its earthy reddish brown color, grain, hardness of the wood and the way it finishes.
We think the mineral streaks, bug blemishes, knotholes, and cracks add to the appearance and charm of the item. Once these character marks
are filled they lend a unique look to the piece. Sometimes we embed stones or glass in a knot or hole for special effects.

We strive to be original by using antiques and the unusual for some of our bases. Most of our pieces are one of a kind. You never know what we are
going to find to utilize for a base. These are known as our theme tables. We believe we are building heirlooms for the future and each piece is as unique
as the person it has been built for. We take special orders with a description and measurements. A picture or rough drawing is nice but not necessary
We will work with other mediums.

Our pieces are not mass produced, therefore it may take a few weeks or more to complete. All of our wood furniture pieces are sanded and sprayed
with lacquer top and bottom for a fine furniture finish. The metal is cleaned and painted with Krylon.
